''I am the Black Panther. King of the dead. And soon to be your new lord''. 0

The good:One hell of an issue! Hickman continues his amazing fleshed out sci-fi story in the pages of New Avengers. In this particular title, we get to see the Illuminati fight as the last line of defense against Thanos' desire to invade earth while its defenses are weakened. The high point of not only this title, but the complete Infinity storyline, is how well organized it is. Every book, from the Infinity core book, to the Avengers main title, to this title, serves a purpose in the story. We ...

The Search for the Infinity Gems Begins 0

Now I haven't been reviewing this series, but due to the Infinity event I have decided to review this series, as well as the Avengers throughout the Infinity event, which so far has not disappointed.PlotAs the Avengers are preparing for an invasion Thanos sends members of his Black Order to find the sole remaining Infinity Gem.ReviewThis was an amazing issue, and easily the best this series has produced so far. Much like Avengers #18 Jonathan Hickman has managed to continue from the events of In...

What Thanos wants Thanos sends the Black order after. 8

I’m really enjoying Infinity at the minute, and Hickman has been doing a fantastic job creating an epic storyline, also very engaging and exciting as well. I was quite interested in how the Illuminati would be involved in this story, as part of this story is triggered by something to do with them, and also how the Inhumans would be involved in the story.PlotThe Black order talk with thanos, and afterwards they invade earth searching for the Infinity gems, and each targeting the Illuminati, who ...

    The Hunt Begins 0

With the troops of Infinity rolling in, we see an all-out war on Earth from the perspective of the New Avengers, and it's pretty sweet. The Cull Obsidian are marching with a purpose, although not all have the same. This is, as a whole, a seriously good issue. The weakest of the work done here is on the end of the X-Men, as none of the characters on that end feel interesting, seeing as all but Beast have never been in the series, and he has hardly been characterized here anyhow. We also see little...
