Cover

The cover is kind of sketchy.

Story

Luke tries to get the mansion repaired but, does not want help from Cap but, it seems like he is going to need the money from him after all. Doctor Strange wakes up from a 15 hour nap and everyone on the team want him to be an Avenger and at first does not accept but, than says he will do it. Victoria Hand gives everyone pay checks from Cap the only one angry about this is Luke because he does not want hand outs. But Jessica yells at him because they need the money. Spider-man is the only one who does not get a pay check because they do not know his identity. Jessica and Luke interview for a baby sitter because they need one and Squirrel Girl wins the job even though Wolverine and he have a past. Then Wong, one of Dr. Strange’s friends, comes in and he is the new Jarvis.

Best Part

I loved how Luke is reluctant to take cash or have help from Cap just because he is old fashioned. Also love the irony that Jessica pointed out that he created Heroes for Hire. Jessica is totally in control in the relationship and makes some great points and I am glad that she is in this series because she makes this series good for me.

 Worst Part

Nothing in the story was bad.

Art

The art is a little sketchy at times but, it is tolerable.

Pick it up or not

This issue shows that as the team settles down in the aftermath of averting a mystical apocalypse to sort out what they are going to be about and how they are going to operate. This is something people have been waiting for to see just what will set the New Avengers apart from the rest and who will actually make up the team. It is not entirely satisfying in that regard, but it is still a strong and entertaining issue. ...

Time To Clean House (or at least the Avengers Mansion) 0

The New Avengers barely survived their magical battle. It's time to clean up and figure out who the heck is going to be on the team.  The Good There isn't a lot of action in this issue but it's always nice to be able to take a breather and allow the characters to reassess everything. The New Avengers not only have a mansion that needs to be rebuilt, they also have to look at their own team. We've already seen Hawkeye leave the team (since he was also on the regular Avengers team).  We also find ...
