Illuminati
This has got to be one of the best New Avengers crossover for AvX so far if not the best crossover overall. I have to say I the thing that has made me like New Avengers more than the regular series so far is Deodato's art it's amazing and really works with most of the characters.
Not a whole lot happens in this comic its mainly a throw back to the Illuminati series and has a similar feel except instead of deciding what should be done in the world they are sitting around feeling sorry for themselves. Don't get me wrong this isn't a bad thing it's a good thing has it's all very well written and there is a lot of emotion flying around with Xavier knows everyone secretly blames him (as he raised the X-Men) and he also slightly blames himself whilst acknowledging that they are grown people capable of there own decisions. Tony is trying to forget what's going on whilst making jokes. Reed thinks it might not be a bad thing what the X-Men are doing. Cap is hoping Namor shows (as thats why he set the meeting up). And Dr Strange just thinks it's a waste of time as he feels Namor wont show.
Final verdict. This was a great issue and is a very emotional comic. It is also a great read if you liked the Illuminati series. The only member missing is Black Bolt who's space is taken by Cap.
