All new Marvel magic by Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen! The Avengers don't even get a chance to move in to their new digs when a dimensional invasion tears right into the heart of the team. This is a story that wlll completely reinvent the rules of magic in the Marvel Universe and have long- lasting effects on a handful of your favorite Marvel characters. Plus: an Avenger disappears! Backup feature: Another brand new oral history of the Avengers chapter by Bendis!

Clutching the Eye of Agamotto in his hand, Luke Cage grows to giant proportions and begins to damage the dining room in Avenger's Mansion, while the rest of the team panics. The Thing tries to grab the Eye from Luke but is punched far out the window into the neighboring park. Jessica Jones punches Luke, Wolverine throws the Eye out the window and claws Dr Strange and Hellstrom in the chest, freeing them from possession.

In Central Park, Ms Marvel flies and grabs the Eye, while Thing punches the possessed Luke. The other Avengers show up and try to figure out who is possessing Luke, but it taunts them and tries to grab Ms Marvel to get the Eye. Carol drops the Eye, but Iron Fist picks it up and runs off. Doctor Voodoo teleports in, to find that the possession has switched to Iron Fist. Iron Fist disappears to another dimension and the sky darkens, a giant rip in the clouds appearing above the heroes.
