Despair For All
This is an earnestly gloomy entry into a very dark series, and I love it. We see the aftermath of Infinity truly touch these people, bringing them to all-time lows in general. Yet, despite that, the narrative still drives into us that this is nothing compared to what's coming, and strongly encourages the question of how long our protagonists can sit around postulating before they actually need to come to a decision of what to do. Throughout this series, we've seen our incredibly strong figures be brought to incredibly difficult and scary situations, yet they haven't done much to actually alter the fate of their world, almost contemplative observers. We begin to see the stirrings of some fittingly epic events in the months to come, and I earnestly sit at the edge of my seat in anticipation.
Also, this is a series that I find I can read multiple times in waiting for the next month, which makes it such a stronger series for me. Just a brief thought.
If you aren't reading this, you sure as hell should be, as the future holds great things for this narrative.
