User of this jutsu can seal the soul of their enemy inside of another body or that of the Reaper, at the cost of their own soul. It is one of the most effective jutsu in Naruto.

8. Genjutsu of the Sharingan

The "Eye of Hypnotism" is one of the two main purpose of the generic Sharingan, and its speed can be enhanced through awakening the Mangekyō. Unlike the Tsukuyomi, the generic Sharingan, though having less control, is more easily attained, and taxes less chakra from the user.

On top of that, a fully-matured Sharingan is able to use Izanami and Izanagi, the two ultimate dojutsu of the Uchiha clan. Izanami traps the target in an infinite time loop, while Izanagi rewrites destiny at the cost of an eye.

Susanoo is a highly versatile jutsu that can be used after awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan, even when the user no longer have the eyes. It can combine with other types of chakra to form even more powerful forms, such as the Senjutsu Susanoo, Six Paths Susanoo, and Indra's Susanoo. User who have awakened Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan can summon the Perfect Susanoo.
