Naruto Series Review
I’m going to be giving you who are my favorite characters, villains, and moments. As well as my absolute worst character, villain, and moment. I don’t wanna leave this series on a bad note so I’ll be starting with my bottom everything.
This review will be spoiler heavy so if you have not read or watched Naruto or if you are watching the anime then you can go down to the Overview (Non-Spoiler) for the overview of the series.

Sakura Haruno:
I will give Sakura one thing, it’s not her fault. Kishimoto is a horrible writer when it comes to females. Regardless, here’s what makes Sakura a bad character: She has no goals that don’t involve Uchiha dick, in combat and medical expertise, she’s obsolete, and her love for Sasuke is banal, forced & psychotic.
I don’t know what Sakura ever wanted to do with her life that didn’t pertain to Sasuke. It’s not like I’m expecting a lot from her in this aspect, I mean even Ten Ten had a real goal, even if she never succeeded. Combat wise, the majority of Rookie 9 are better than her. She’s not smarter than Shikamaru, faster or physically stronger than Rock Lee, Shino is better at traps than she is, Ten Ten has a has a higher mastery of weapons, she’s not better at hand to hand combat than Neji or Hinata, she can’t relay messages in a spy situation like Ino, I’d pick Naruto to heal me before her, and Sasuke has a higher prowess in genjutsu. What is she good for?
Why Sakura loves still eludes me. Sasuke made 3 attempts on her life and constant rejection since they were children, but its ok cause Sasuke was “sorry”.sigh. Either way it doesn’t matter, Sasuke needed Uchiha babies so I guess Sakura succeded in her one & only goal that we found out about in chapter 4. And to be honest, I just think Sasuke’s restoring his clan. Sakura is just a baby pocket.

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki:
My issue with Kaguya is just her lack of character. I don’t know who she is. What’s her personality? Nothing. What’s her motivation? There is none. What does she accomplish? Nothing. What else, who talks for the majority of Kaguya’s panel time? Black Zetzu. That’s pitiful.
In terms of power, she can’t be fucked with, but being powerful doesn’t make you a villain. Ideals, Ambition, Motivation, and Personality, all of them are virtually nonexistent. What’s worse for her is that we have no choice but to compare her to Madara and if you scroll down, it’s just sad for her. I ask this, if Kaguya was not in the story, would it have changed much?

Talk No Jutsu:
Talk no Jutsu is Naruto Uzumaki’s most potent and effective jutsu. Using it, he can talk to the most evil, depressed, monstrous, horrible person and make them change their entire life’s ideology in a matter of minutes.
Here’s a list of the victims of this jutsu:
- Zabuza Momochi
- Gaara
- Allied Shinobi Forces (via Gaara)
- Obito Uchiha
- Sasuke Uchiha (via Hashirama & Naruto(multiple times))
- Nagato Uzumaki
- Tsunade Senju
- Konan
- Naruto Uzumaki (via himself)
There have been rare times that Talk No Jutsu has notworked. But this was just the opposite, Talk No Jutsu’s fatality rate is 100%, if it doesn’t work immediately it will have a delayed effect.

Itachi Uchiha:
What makes him so badass and my favorite character is just how impressive he is when it comes to combat and how important he is in the overall story. First of all, in combat, I would go as far to say that Itachi is still one of the Top 5, if not Top 3, best fighters in the entire story of Naruto. How many times did he defeat Kakashi?
And unlike A LOT of other characters in Naruto, Itachi has an arsenal of jutsu and skills at his disposal. If we exclude Naruto, I believe Itachi is one of the most important character in the story. Without him, Sasuke has no goals, and without the actions of Itachi, the story would’ve taken a completely 180 after chapter 2.
What’s also interesting, up until Chapter 698, Itachi helps mold the resolve that Sasuke and Naruto himself has chosen. He’s a true shinobi.

Madara Uchiha
What has Madara Uchiha done? Madara has taken on all 9 Bijuu while blind, Madara defeated all 5 Kage, Madara influence Obito to become a villain, Madara broke the chain of Indra and Ashura, Madara never switched sides, Madara was NEVER defeated.
Whose plans pull the strings of the Akatsuku? Madara. Who came back to life via HIS OWN plans? Madara. Who activated Infinite Tsukuyomi? Madara. Who’s better than Madara? No one.
Best Moment

Sasuke vs Itachi
This is it, this fight was the arguably most hyped up fight of the series. All of Sasuke’s development and actions built up to this fight. And I think Kishimoto delivered much better than he did for a majority of the fights in the series, including Naruto & Sasuke’s last fight.
Granted, Itachi wasn’t in the best of health, and he still managed to almost defeat Sasuke even after he used Kirin….once….ever…I know a lot of people agree that watching an Uchiha fight is nice but watching Uchiha’s fight each other? whew. There weren’t too much flash back, most of it was just an allusion to explain EMS.
I could’ve done without Zetsu narration, but it didn’t take me out of the fight like a pink haired bitch running in for no reason or RE-HASHED flashback like every Naruto and Sasuke fight.
Overview (Non-Spoiler)
Naruto wasn’t perfect. It had too many flaws to count, but it wasn’t cringe worthy so there’s much to be enjoyed here. Would I recommend it to someone who’s new to manga? Yes. I certainly suggest that you read the manga, and only watch the anime for the fights because at least you can go through the manga at your own pace, if you watch the anime you’re grounded to that 22 minutes that might be a majority of flash backs. You’ll love some of the characters, you’ll hate some of them, and some you just won’t care about.
Overview
To be honest, Naruto has fallen from grace many times. I didn’t think I was going to get back in the series after the time skip. It wasn’t until I discovered the manga community that I started reading the manga and realized all that filler wasn’t canon. I started Naruto in 4th grand and now I’m in my second year of college. I still hate Sakura, all these years she’s the same person. Rock Lee still hasn’t won a fight. That’s disappointing. If I was Kishimoto, there’s be major changes in this story, but I’ll save that for the spoiler end of this overview.
I would’ve expanded the world very early on the series. I would’ve introduced a lot more of the Jinchuuriki other than just Gaara & Killer Bee. I would’ve had Team 7 go on a lot more real missions than just one. I would’ve had Sakura be a sane person. I would’ve had Naruto know about chakra natures meaning a lot more wind jutsu, the basics of Sage mode, and have him make Rasengans without a shadow clone all after the time skip. Like come on bruh, 2-3 years’ time skip and this nigga still using shadow clones? I would’ve explored Sakura’s prowess in genjutsu. I would’ve given you guys the Neji vs Sasuke fight and the Neji vs Rock Lee fight. I would’ve made Tsunade a better hokage.I would’ve made Sai’s shirt longer. Would’ve taken the all those worst moments out and made Talk No Jutsu powerless. Instantly a better manga.
