    Düsseldorf, West Germany, 1986. Everyone experiences feelings of uneasiness and self-doubt in their lives, and brilliant Dr. Kenzo Tenma is no exception. When he ignores his boss's orders and saves the life of a critically wounded young boy, Tenma must question the meaning of success and what it truly means to be a doctor. What is justice and what is evil? Who could have ever known that Tenma's selfless act would create a monster!
