About Me

X often represents the unknown, what we can't fathom or comprehend. When an incident in New York spawned hundreds of new Mutants, the response was to create a place where they can learn how to use their abilities while receiving one of the finest educations from a number of prestigious instructors and professors in their respective fields. The young men and women that attend this school are known as the men and women of Tomorrow, the next step in evolution and thought. They are the unknown and X, they are The Tomorrow Men.

The Institute of Tomorrow houses approximately 53 children ranging from the age of thirteen to seventeen that are split between two dormitories on opposite sides of the campus. The mess hall is large enough to host twice the size of the current student body comfortably. In the rear of the school there is a basketball court and pool for recreation, along with a large groomed yard for lounging or activities.

Underneath the school is the subbasement which houses Dr. Damn's laboratories where he engineers machinery to detect and aid Mutantkind, develops treatments to fight Mutant Cancer for adults and tests the abilities of the children to teach them to better control their powers. Most of the underground structure is made of a mutated alloy that mimics the properties of a number of other metal alloys such as vibranium and omnium which makes the subbasement ultra-durable. Dr. Damn theorized that Danger had this subbasement built to keep out possible intruders and house the student body if there ever was an attack but the truth is that Danger had this subbasement built to keep mutants in initially. The subbasement's structure is virtually impenetrable through most means and can only be accessed by the staff members through the gravity lift that runs through the center of the school as well as a personal portal in Dr. Damn's possession that leads directly to his laboratory.

In the sub-basement there's a room known as the Zero Room, which is a large empty room that allows the faculty to test powers and teach control without the risk of bringing harm to bystanders. At the top of the room are a number of holographic projectors that can fill the room with holograms and targets if needed, though these light-projections aren't exactly tangible, they do disperse when struck due to the supercomputer's mapping of the room.

Doctor Damn is the first Headteacher and Dean of admissions of the Institute of Tomorrow. Everything from the school motto to the intricate workings of the school to the astonishing subbasement was created and engineered by Doctor Damn himself.

Name: Julius De Flamme
Alias: Icarus, Icarus Mach 9
Age: 35
Position: Teacher of Applications of Modern Science
Abilities: Superhuman speed
Julius De Flamme was one of Doctor Damn's first recruits, despite his psychosis which Doctor Damn is treating with a patch he personally created for Julius to keep his violent impulses under wraps.

Name: Tara Charsel
Alias: Mistress Crusher
Age: 21
Position: Teacher of Chemistry
Abilities: Superhuman physiology, size manipulation
Tara Charsel was recommended by a third party and hired due to her teaching skills and superhuman ability.
