The Knights of the Galaxy return to Gala, from a deep space patrol. There seems to be no evidence that their nemesis, the Master Of Doom has survived their last encounter. The next morning, the Knights of the Galaxy find that Gala has been transported, through time, one thousand years into the past. A time capsule opens, revealing a recorded message from the Master Of Doom. With the Knights of the Galaxy trapped in the past, the Master Of Doom begins his invasion. A hydrogen bomb explosion interferes with the Knights of the Galaxy's ability to return to their proper time.
The Knights of the Galaxy locate the epicenter of the explosion, and, incredibly, remove the force of the explosion from the Earth. Several of the Knights of the Galaxy's ships are lost, while transporting the powerful explosive energy of the hydrogen bomb, through space, to Alpha Obscuri. Gala, however, has suffered a breakage in it's fuel supply, and no longer has enough power to make the journey forward through time. Suddenly, an enormous amount of energy floods Gala, propelling it back to it's proper place in space, and time. Unfortunately, the Knights of the Galaxy have been left behind.
With only one ship, Ora, and her father, set out to confront the Master of Doom's invading fleet. Suddenly, the Knights of the Galaxy appear, routing the Master of Doom's invasion fleet. Lyle transferred the energy of the exploding star, Alpha Obscuri, to Gala, to send the station back to the future, then followed behind, to catch the Master of Doom by surprise. The crisis ended, Lyle and Ora observe the dying light of Alpha Obscuri, only just now reaching the Earth, one thousand years after it went super-nova.
