The first story here involves yet another alien invasion, but in its eventual anti-war message it also is sort of pro-war which dilutes the concept a bit.  Next a Giants of the Telescope looks at Charles A. Young.  The second story has one of the most lazily named characters i have ever seen, Johnny Bachelor.  In it he and a neighbour (Ed Maytag) attempt to help an alien trapped on the Moon.  In helping him they inadvertently learn the secrets of space travel (which are uniformly not accurate.)   In the Space Cabbie story, he becomes addicted to something called space nectar which some thieves use against him, though he eventually kicks his habit.  The last story is about a journey to Mars in which the astronauts must help find a cure for a strange virus.  This was a kind of strange issue, not really all that interesting, and even the campiness was mostly absent.
