    The author and creator of Footrot Flats, Murray Ball lives on a massive property in New Zealand. It was here all our favourite Footrot flats characters started inspiration coming from the various animals Murray had on his farm. He started the comic strip in 1945 soon becoming a massive hit in other countries. The dog and his friends have since died in real life and Murray has retired from the comic.
