    This is Moon Knight

I read this trade after finishing up the Marc Spector: Moon Knight series from the 90s, a series which started off as a pretty solid Moon Knight title but fell into the depths of utter horror when Terry Kavanagh took over. So, I was quite some time without a good Moon Knight story. Then I read this.

I absolutely loved it. It is very apparent that Charlie Huston is very knowledgeable about the Moon Knight universe. Reading in the afterword that Huston was a big fan of the original Doug Moench series from the 80s made me appreciate this great piece of work even more.

I enjoyed the parts with the Taskmaster quite a bit. That pinch of humor was a nice touch to balance out the other strong emotions evoked throughout the story.

The artwork is fantastic. David Finch does an awesome job of getting across a gritty aura that suits Moon Knight well.

Probably the main reason why I love this story so much is because it brings the Moon Knight franchise back up from the gutters where Kavanagh took it. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially any Moon Knight fan or someone looking to get to know more about the character.

The character has been around since 1975 making his firs...

This comic book had its definite ups and downs.  The story-line was average at best, I know the title is called "The Bottom" but Marc Spector just looked pathetic and I hate that because he's a strong character.  He shouldn't just give up and be a pill popper up in his room, he should be jumping back in the hero business and fighting like a hero.    Now that being said, the art work of David Finch is amazing in this one.  Truly just phenomenal, if you can't appreciate the story then you can defi...
