An anti-hero cop starts taking out corrupt members of his own force…leaving Moon Knight in a sticky moral predicament.

Jake Lockley is talking to a cop friend of his about the cop killer one night. When the man leaves, Jake hears a gunshot, but reaches the man too late. Moon Knight decides to investigate the case and breaks into the police station to see what info they already have. He is interrupted by a detective. He learns that the men were working for Kingpin so faces him for questions. Kingpin tells him that if he had cops working for him, why would he kill them. Later, two more cops are killed, but Moon Knight arrives just too late and the killer gets away. Moon Knight believes one of the detectives is the killer, but pegs the wrong one, making him a target. He figures it out in time and arrives to save the day.

Note: Back cover in black and white by Bill Sienkiewicz.
