A meteor full of Quantonium mutates Susan into a giant named Ginormica.
Plot Summary
The film begins with Susan in her bedroom getting alerted by her friends to turn on the Weather channel. Susan prepares for her wedding getting married to Derek. Susan gets a surprise by an asteroid that lands directly on her. Susan turns out to be a complete mess and later attends her wedding reuniting with Derek.
Susan begins to glow and mutates into a giant. This led to a conflict between Susan and the Government. Susan gets injected and inevitably gets captured by the government. Susan being held in captivity, meets with the other monsters who are also being held in captivity. Susan believes she's hallucinating and she's met up with Insectosaurus. Susan is confronted by General W.R Monger when she demands to be released from the monster cell.
General W.R. Monger shows susan around the facility. Susan is heartbroken hearing that she won't have outside communication with her close relatives. Gallaxhar extracts a robot to track down the Quantonium meteor. A couple in the film is interested in the crash site. They discover the crash site to be ultimately surprised by a giant space robot.
President Hathaway plays the piano to communicate with the space giant. The Military come into conflict with the giant space robot. The President Hathaway, chooses to flee the scene appearing that the robot is immune to weapon fire. General W.R. MONGER has a plan to release the monsters from the cell to help defeat the Space Robot. The general introduces the special power and description of the monsters to come into an agreement on conquering the alien.
General W.R. delivers good news to the monsters relieving them that their leaving the facility. The military instructs the citizens of the city to evacuate the city. The mutated monsters are met up with the giant robot. The robot specifically targets Susan to extract the Quantonium from Susan. The robot chases Susan through the city. Susan knows she's no match for the enormous robot so she chooses to outmaneuver the robot.
With great teamwork from the monsters they are able to defeat the robot. Susan comes to see her family again. Susan reunites with Derek. Derek doesn't want to be with Susan anymore and breaks up with her. Susan then later gets captured by the giant alien space ship. Insectosaurus tries to help get her back but gets knocked out in the process. Susan chases after Gallaxhar and fails. Susan gets trapped into a glass that extracts all the power into an orb. Susan is later saved by her friends.
Susan and the monsters come into conflict with the clone aliens. Susan gains a hold of the Quantonium power again and comes to save her friends. Susan escapes the destruction of the spaceship and reunites with her family and Derek. Derek gets revenge and Susan lives a happy life.
They set up a mission to go to Paris.
