The son of Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller, David Haller is the powerful Omega-level mutant known as Legion. He possesses hundreds of mutant abilities ranging from telekinesis to reality warping, but each power is controlled by a different persona, which could be either benevolent or malevolent.
After the Human-Machine-Mutant War which saw the rise of Homo Novissima, successors of Homo Sapiens, and the near-extinction of mutants. The Librarian kept the few remaining mutants in a Preserve.
After he was reduced to infancy, Magneto was remanded to the care of Dr. Moria MacTaggart. Rather than being motherly, she experimented on him. She discovered that Magneto channeled to much energy through his nervous system and it caused a chemical overload in his brain, perhaps leading to madness. In hopes of find a cure for the instability of her her own son Proteus, she used the infant Magnus as a test subject. Her experiments were unsuccessful, but when Magneto discovered the alterations in his gene code he was enraged. Though she was later killed by Mystique while laying the groundwork for the cure for the Legacy Virus, Magneto still bears a violent grudge against MacTaggart to this day.
Mary Jane Watson is an actress and a major love interest of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. They have had a long and dramatic on-and-off-again relationship. She's one of the few people who know who he is and still supports him as a close friend and confidante.
Milan was one of the Acolytes who helped kidnap Moira MacTaggert, until she was later rescued by the X-Men. Milan later died on Avalon, the homebase of the Acolytes, when Holocaust attacked

Mr. Sinister is a supervillain originating from Marvel Comics. Nathaniel Essex was a 19th Century scientist that was genetically mutated by Apocalypse, who shared his philosophy of Social Darwinism. Becoming the immortal Mr. Sinister, he is perhaps the greatest geneticist in the world; capable of cloning, creating, enhancing, and controlling mutant abilities. Sinister is one of the X-Men's most dangerous enemies.
True to her name, the shape shifting Mystique is an enigma. Is she a mutant terrorist determined to bring about the end of humanity, or a misguided mutant with a good heart?
Neophyte is a pacifist member of the mutant fanatical group the Acolytes, who are religious followers of Magneto. Neophyte was tried for treason against the group, but has since rejoined their ranks. He was most recently seen as a resident of the mutant island Utopia.
Onslaught was born from the minds of Professor X and Magneto, and is a nigh-omnipotent villain, and can absorb powers from various other characters. Onslaught is mostly remembered for his part in the deaths of the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Hulk and Doctor Doom that led to the Heroes Reborn reboot.

An abusive priest who raised Wolfsbane, later revealed to be her biological father. He lives somewhere near Muir Island, Scotland.
Victor Creed is the feral mutant called Sabretooth. He was a member/subject of the Weapon X Project and is the arch-enemy of Wolverine. Unlike Wolverine, Sabretooth embraces his primal instincts, leaving death in his wake. Due to a spell gone wrong by Scarlet Witch, Sabretooth got inverted and became a more heroic person for a while.
The Noble Knight of the Acolytes. This "knight" however is anything but noble, and is actually as monstrous and vicious as his own appearance suggests.

When the telepathic mutant Amahl Farouk’s physical body died after facing off against Charles Xavier he became the psionic entity known as The Shadow King. The encounter with the Farouk was the incident that convinced Charles Xavier to found the X-Men.
