Manaus, Brazil, early fifties. It is in this small, sleepy and desolate town, surrounded by the Amazon forest, that Jerry Drake, alias Mister No, has decided to live. He is a Second World War veteran who has decided to take advantage of his aviation skills in order to make a living as a tourist guide with his Piper plane. However, his clients are often unpredictable: the engineer Sam Tucker, who is not really what he makes out to be, is no exception….
