Mike Applebee

Origin

Mike Applebee is Tony Chu's boss at the FDA. Since Tony's arrival at the FDA, Applebee has set out to make his life as miserable as possible. Taking advantage of Chu's unique ability as a cibopath, Applebee goes out of his way to assign him the most foul cases he can. Everything from feces left behind in a bank robbery to a corpse rotting in a sewer is on the menu. Eventually, Applebee becomes somewhat more pleasant after sleeping with Chu's partner John Colby. He eventually marries John Colby.

Applebee was created by John Layman and Rob Guillory. His first appearance was in Image's Chew #2.
