I was planning on getting into the series, but never did because other Bat titles kept popping up. Sorry to those who were enjoying this book, I heard good things.
Michael Lane
Character » Michael Lane appears in 75 issues.
A former Gotham police officer that was changed into a Batman has taken the sword of Azrael as agent of the Order of Purity, from the Sacred Order of Saint Dumas.
Azrael coming to an end with #18
Damnit I just started reading.
"Does anyone know will Hoping Lane be appearing in any comic after Azrael #18 "
I hope so
FUCK. NO WAY. GOD DAMMIT. Canceling 2 of my absolute favorite titles in one month? Words cannot describe the amount of rage I'm feeling right now.
Also, where do people get these solicits that say 'FINAL ISSUE' ? The ones on the DC site don't say that.
Finally, Confidential getting the axe? 100% in favor of that. Lovers and Madmen was great, The Bat and the Beast was pretty good, and the one shot story in #49 was phenomenal, but other than that it's mostly been a string of mediocre Batman stories.
the only thing that makes me happy about this news is that i'll get to save a little bit of money... and that doesnt really make me happy at all

your right. it dosen't say that on the DC site
Shit, I just got my copy of Previews with all the solicits at my LCS and it confirms all 3 cancellations. Couldn't DC at least have had the courtesy to let us know to our faces rather than behind our backs? And don't get me wrong, DC has made a lot of moves these past few months that proves they care about their fans more than Marvel does, but this is downright depressing for me. Paul DIni and David Hine both rank in the top of the top of my favorite authors, and these 2 titles have been my favorite works by them. UGH. Now I know how people must have felt when they cancelled Mosaic. And it's dangled there in front of me until March, so I'm gonna be sulking for MONTHS.

Still though he was created as hurt's servant and i would have preffered them sticking to that,JPV was better in my opinion, but you like this guy and i respect that.
