    Mentac was created by Bob Layton in 1986 and first appeared in X-Factor Annual # 1.  

    Story Arcs

    Firefox was hired to retrieve Darkstar, Vanguard and Ursa Major after they escaped a special research facility. Firefox located a safehouse with Darkstar, Stencil, Concussion, Iron Curtain and Mentac inside. Firefox raided the safehouse and killed Mentac with a gunshot to the head.

    Powers & Abilities

    Mentac has a fifth-level brain and is capable of computer like analysis. Mentac can also process information at an accelerated rate.
