Ever since Great Grandfather Isom killed a man over some sheep, a black cloud has hung over the Rath family. Now, over a century later, Ira Rath, the coldest hitman ever to walk on Alabama soil, has taken a job that will decide the fate of his cursed family once and for all. Writer Jason Aaron (Southern Bastards, Scalped) and artist Ron Garney (Weapon X, Thor: God of Thunder) team up once again, to bring you the story of a Southern family, whose only heirloom is violence.

    A fantastic start 0

This was a fantastic start to this story. The pacing is brilliant and the story effective. We're introduced to a cold man that shows no emotion. Clearly ready to die and only going through the motions, he's a contract killer who will accept any job. I'll admit when I first read the premise I decided to skip this title. I didn't feel the need for another traditional "hitman" type story. Thankfully this tale is different and there appears to be the potential for a lot of depth. The art is great, ...

I think It's going to be an awesome series 0

The opening is rather dark but really grabs your attention. Ira Rath has a old man Punisher kinda thing going expect that hes a cold hearted contract killer. The story and dialogue between the characters is fantastic. The art is awesome the panels tell a story that words would do no justice to. I really liked reading this and I'm very excited to get a hold of the next issue. For sure one hundred percent a definite buy....
