    Art - The art in this issue is excellent. The lines are all well above the standard fair you get in most titles and allows me to distinguish characters without problem. Unlike the previous issue where none of the characters were defined. The colors are all well done and plays well the lines. The only point that really draws my eye as sorta bad is a panel where the shadow doesn't look quite right on the 4th page, but nothing major. The panel layout is also well done and dynamic, fitting the story...

    This issue is a bit of a reversal in terms of quality.  So far the mess that is the first half of this book has been a confusing tale with almost no continuity where the soldiers are half portrayed as living in a gritty modern war environment, and half portrayed as living in a fantastical world with super heroes.  Here that reverses a little bit as the squad is on the move in Djibouti after barely escaping in the previous issue.  While some parts of this don't make sense, at least it more or les...

    The Good: Men of War, you still win the New 52 award for the best covers. Each one is an absolutely gorgeous work of art, crafted with such a delicate balance of detail and minimalism. This one adds another layer of intrigue by doing something different with the same formula of the last cover, demonstrating a theme to the covers in the arc, and we realize why they both have overwhelming white.
