Melody had joined the military and was presumed dead when a video surfaced showing an IED hitting her humvee. She survives and plans on surprising her family on Blumbus Eve.

Major Story Arcs
While walking home on Blumbus Eve, Melody runs headlong into Morty. She sees in him the potential to be the blumberflarg and invites him home to meet the family. When Melody enters her house she is greeted by her family who is in shock that she is alive. Melody ignores Morty's discomfort and takes him up to her room. He is still very uncomfortable with the night's proceedings but she tries to sooth him during his preparation as the blumberflarg. She tries to have sex with Morty but he attempts to flee when he realizes that a blumberflarg is a boy that is found, sexed, and then eaten. Melody and her family tries to keep Morty contained in the house so as to eat him, but they are all blasted to death by Mr. Chimney.
