Continuing the ICONS OF EVIL one-shots, revealing key chapters in the lives of He- Man's most fearsome foes! Who is Kronis? How did this once-proud warrior become the mechanized minion known as Trapjaw? Find out as Kronis, at odds with the newly disfigured Skeletor, sets out on his own path, which will lead him to oblivion! Invincible writer Robert Kirkman delivers a stand-alone epic great for fans of the new toys and cartoon!

Just after Keldor made the change to Skeletor, the now disfigured evil lord calls his henchmen to his throne and they all swear loyalty, that is all but Kronis. He will not obey Skeletor's commands, believing the new skull headed wizard is too weak to lead. This causes Skeletor to blast Kronis with a energy blast knocking him out cold. He then orders Beast-Man and Whiplash to throw Kronis to the wastelands, where without the protection of Snake Mountain, his life will be short and painful.

When Kronis awakens he is ambushed by some scavengers, who Kronis beats easily and makes them swear allegiance to him. He then takes over the different tribes and armies in the Dark Hemisphere, creating the largest army ever seen, and once everyone has joined his banner, Kronis leads his army to Snake Mountain.

Meanwhile inside Snake Mountain, Skeletor is aware of Kronis's army matching towards him and goes out to mee them with his army. Kronis and Skeletor do battle and Skeletor is victorious destroying Kronis arm and face. Kronis seems defeated and Skeletor throws his body to Triclops to rebuild as something more useful.

Later Evil-Lyn approaches Kronis and show her disappointment that he would join Skeletor. Kronis only says keep your enemies close and his new name is Trapjaw.
