the whole reason thor wasnt in WWH is because he wouldve defeated him. even without the odinforce thor is powerful enough to down hulk, hes just a horrible character that doesnt ever use any of his powers, he just likes to punch trolls and shit lol.

In the Eternals Saga, Thor delivered a blow that staggered a Celestial. Pretty sure that would nuke World Breaker Hulk. Mind you, he was in a heightened emotional state, but no more so than Hulk in World Breaker mode.

The only reason it wasn't Thor instead of Sentry, is because Thor was off world for his own events. It was originally written to be Thor (who had Odin Force at the time)

it takes powerful and versatile trans level characters to beat the hulk........ i think that even thanos would lose in a pure brawl against world war hulk and world breaker hulk is even a bigger beast........ if thanos uses everything he has, he would win in a very, very tough fight........ but thanos is probably also the weakest character who could beat world breaker hulk in the majority of the fights....... superman, thor, wonder woman, blue marvel........ they all die within minutes

I think that Blue Marvel is above Thor, WW and Superman.

@realitywarper: even if he is (which is according to his creator not the case, who seems to have thor above blue marvel but blue marvel above superman lol) blue marvel hasn't done much which suggests that he can keep up with wb hulk...................... readers on comicvine need to understand that hulks overall stats increase with anger and in his world breaker state his most impressive attribute should be his healing factor........ his healing factor at his base is already strong enough to heal him so fast from thors attacks that it looks like hulk is invulnerable even though he really isn't.................. as world breaker that healing factor should be so crazy that blue marvel wouldn't even be able to do any real damage to wb hulk........... you simply need more damage and trans level characters are able to generate that damage imo

I am surprised that Thor is above Blue Marvel.
I agree that WBH is too strong for Blue Marvel to handle.
But he has a beautiful powerset.
Really versatile, I am sure that he will have impressive feats in the future.

I think Iceman is one of the few heroes who could possibly defeat the real Hulk.. Only because of his particular thermokinesis ability.

And I think Surtur & Silver Surfer have a chance against him.

Someone who can absorb vast amounts of energy e.g Silver Surfer and Blue Marvel or reality warpers like Molecule Man and Franklin Richards. Some of the other choices listed here are ridiculous, they wouldn't even beat Grey Hulk.

Yeah. Well there's actually more villains I think that compare, Thanos & Surtur being major ones. But for heroes, there aren't many who come close. Silver Surer & possibly Iceman, Gladiator, Sentry. People say Thor but I'm not sure I agree, as much as I like Thor. The reason I dont list Thing & Hercules is because they have the exact same strengths only to a lesser extent. I've always looked at them as a lesser version to the Hulk.

Any comic character could beat the Hulk as long as the writer is creative and can come up with an idea that makes "sense" for a comic book. For example Ant-Man flies up Hulk's nose and shrinks his brain into the microverse. Or Ant-Man shrinks the Hulk and then flushes him down the toilet. Or he uses a pymporter and drops the Hulk in a distant sun. You don't have to be a physically strong character; just one with a writer with a good imagination.
