Ones I'll definitely check out:
- Venom
- GotG
- Amazing Spider-Man
Ones I'm strongly considering:
- Captain Marvel
- Uncanny Avengers
- Ultimates
Anyone else think the female Star Lord is Kitty Pride?

I already know I'm gonna get all of these. Well, most of them...i'll probably pass on Howard the Duck.
Some interesting changes, though, and I admit it'll take some time to get used to it all.
It's kind of funny to me that Marvel and Dc are switching initiatives, this is Marvel's New 52 which basically means it's gonna have some core titles that people love, delete characters for no reason, and play catch up for years. Then DC You is their Marvel Now which is basically not screwing up much of anything, doing a bunch of redesigns, and adding a bunch of diverse titles. It's kinda funny
As for which titles look cool: Daredevil, Old Man Logan, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Karnak, Uncanny Inhumans, Venom: Space Knight, Doctor Strange, Invincible Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Sam Wilson, Captain America, Ultimates, and a few others. It honestly doesn't look as bad as people are making it out. It just seems like they need time to adjust.
@ando123: all the X-books look neat.
I'm with you there! & all the great writers & artists working on them!
Tom Taylor, David Lopez
Dennis Hopeless, Mark Bagley
Cullen Bunn, Greg Land
Jeff Lemire, Andrea Sorrentino (!!!!!)
Jeff Lemire, Humberto Ramos (iffy on Ramos but all depends on the direction of the book!)
Obviously haven't budgeted anything yet, only talking interest based off one cover and caption. So interests can rise or fall fast but here goes...

Spider-Woman (Pregnant?!? Mother?!? Ok, very confused of how to feel. I'll check it out though as I love her character)
Spider-Gwen (not really interested)
Amazing Spider-Man (semi interested, upset about lack of family and becoming Tony light though... oh slott)
Spider-Man (interseted)
Silk (interested but confused)
X-men stuff:
All-New Wolverine (interest peaked)
Uncanny X-men (interest peaked, but land?)
All-New X-men (no interest)
Extraordinary X-men (interest peaked)
Old Man Logan (very interested)
Deadpool (not interested)
Other Earth based Marvel Teams:
Ultimates (interested due to Galactus)
Howling Commandos (not even close to interested)
Ant-Man (very interested)
Uncanny Avengers (interested)
New Avengers (not interested)
Illuminati (not interested)
Squadron Supreme (very interested)
Agents of Shield (semi interested)
Uncanny Inhumans (interested)
Contest of Champions (not interested)

Hawkeye (interested)
Karnak (very interested)
Sam Wilson, Captain America (no interest)
Scarlet Witch (very interested)
Ms Marvel (interested)
Angela Asgard's Assassin (very interested)
Howard the Duck (no interest)
The Mighty Thor (mild interest)
Vision (very interested)
Captain Marvel (interested)
Doctor Strange (interested)
Totally Awesome Hulk (little interest)
Ironman (not interested)
: ( I was hoping on a X-men book that focused on some of the younger X-men characters like Kid Omega, Genesis, Idie and Broo. The Uncanny X-men might be okay but I don't know I've kind of gotten bored with some of the older X-men (and my favorites aren't even on most of these books where's Emma? Or Jubiliee?) I'd be excited with the two split factions back together but with Cyclops Mia it feels incomplete. Like giving another reason for Storm to still lead. I like Nightcrawler and I like the siblings when their on the same team but I can't bring myself to read anymore All-new Jean, she's just so unbearable, she's got no personal boundaries and in general is full of herself ever since she did what she did to Angel I've just wanted to see someone trounce her. Oh well, we can't all get what we want, Uncanny X-men looks like it might be interesting so I'll be picking that one up.
Some of these look really interesting! Others though? Not so much.
Also, these tag lines are killing me slowly on the inside. They scream 80s/90s, and not in a good way!
@jonny_anonymous: I doubt he's an actual team member. He'll probably be involved in some way.
What THE HELL is happening with Spider-Man, goddamit!!
Dan Slott just won't leave him alone. But it's good to finally see a new Daredevil comic without the name Waid on it.
It may just be because I'm fairly new to reading Marvel books, which means I'm not as attached to the past or most of these characters history, but I am super excited to read almost all of these books.
Some changes are kind of weird but I'm shocked to see how many people are upset. I may just be more excited than others who have been around for a while because a lot of these reboots give new readers like me a jumping on point for series that were even only a year or two old in some cases.
I personally and gobbling up every spider book I can find and almost everything else's #1 at least with the exception of the X-men stuff. (Maybe the new wolverine)
Here is to hoping these new runs are good stories and people who are upset learn to love them, I hope Marvel succeeds with this reboot. I want to love them, as an old DC fan this IS all new for me, and I'm sure Marvel is hoping that will be the case for many other readers. :)
Only five books so far that have me interested: Daredevil, Uncanny Inhumans, Karnak, Squadron Supreme, and Nova (if that is Rich in that picture).
Hopefully the remaining 10-15 titles have something more appealing to me in them. I'm guessing they aren't be announced yet as to not spoil anything from Secret Wars.
A lot of that looks really cool. Love all the Spidey books. Sad about no FF, and surprised no Silver Surfer. I thought Slott was going to have a long run on that.
Most of this looks retarded.
Also, Sam Wilson STILL isn't Captain America. he's just Falcon with Cap's shield. Captain Falcon.
I dunno. I like the Avengers Idea Mechanics cover. Rest is meh.
Still don't like Kamala. I mean I like HER, I really do, I just refuse to call her Ms Marvel. She needs a name for herself.
Also Old Man Logan is retarded. They're pulling a Nightcrawler by just bringing in an AU version while we wait for the original to come back from the dead.
There are a lot of major hits and misses here for me.
Spider-man 2099 is a must buy (I can't believe he made it :D)
Dr. Strange is still going on the subscription list
I'll at least try Old Man Logan, Squadron Supreme, Scarlet Witch, (both) Spidey, The Ultimates, Uncanny Inhumans and Venom
There are others that I'll wait for reviews on titles like Karnak, Totally Awesome Hulk, Iron man, Spider Woman, Hawkeye, and All new Wolvie
But some of those look like elaborate jokes, that's harsh I know, but what is going on with the titles like New and Uncanny Avengers??? I'd also love to support those X-men titles but Ramos and Greg Land just kill the interest for me
Overall, I'm not as positive on this up coming line-up as I'd like to be, but overtime I'm sure I'll still be spending irresponsible amounts of money on Marvel commics.
@iamnotgroot: Amazing Spider-Man has been the only Marvel title I've continuously stuck with for years... But another re numbering... Dan Slott still on the book, I've had enough. No more Marvel for me (Apart from Star Wars)
@wmarshal said:
Seriously, will Star lord will forever be Chris Pratt?
Five bucks saying GOTG history wiped before Bendis coming.
I really want to start read the new Nova series. I wasn't sure about it at first but it looks great and from what I hear is not bad. Hope I can get all the trades before it comes out.
I love Greg Pak, but i am not feeling the name.
Ultimates looks like my jam.
New Avengers, don't know, Wiccan to me should have remained with his old build.
I guess the Avengers are in the now save for maternity leave.
As a whole I can see fitting two titles in the current pocket. The overworking pigs.
Lack of Guardians 3000 is and Thor lead title makes me disappoint.
I kinda agree he doesn't look very mage like with that kind of massive build. On the other hand with that build I don't see the abysmal characterization as a whiny wimp continuing, that Gillen had me endure for his entire run. Honestly I hope for all three former young Avengers that Ewing is not writing them remotely like in that series. Also its kinda strange seeing Wiccan and Hulkling on one team with Clint Barton rather than Kate.
Speaking of Hawkeyes how is Clint so old on the Hawkeye book?
Greg Land for X-men again? Crap. That guy can't draw good legs. And I am VERY tired of his faces looking like model faces. I sincerely wish he would tone it down. I really liked his work on Sojourn back on Crossgen. Wish he would return to that.
I am glad to see Songbird, with long hair, back. Also Titania on cover, cool.
Bring on Lyra.
There's a lot of possibly interesting books here. As usual, Marvel does a pretty good job of matching creators to certain books and ideas. The headache and expense of these linewide relaunches is checking out the first issue or two to weed out what is or isn't worth continuing.
Biggest disappointment for me is Bendis still on GotG and Slott on ASM. I was really hoping for a fresh voice on them.
The X-books do look interesting but the rest look very uninteresting which is a shame. Especially the "parent by day, hero by night" comment, which makes me shudder. Terrible idea and terrible costume in my opinion.
A lot of stuff i don't like.
Thing on the GotG? Female Starlord (That's obviously Kitty)? Why does Dr. Strange have an axe again (glad he has his own series though)? And what the hell is going on with Amazing Spiderman? Also, with all the Uncanny and All New stuff coming out, you might as well just call this the "All New All Different Uncanny Awesome Avengerific Marvel Now-ish"
Regardless, the only stuff I'm somewhat excited for is Ant-Man, Carnage, Contest of Champions (maybe), Howling Commandos, Squadron Supreme, and Venom (maybe). Maybe even Web Warriors, but I'm kinda hesitant on it for some reason. Oh, and I'm more than likely picking up Deadpool for sure.
@saint_talker: Yeah the best of the best I'm really looking forward to read it all¡ also Miles SPidey looks awesome
I usually like being the positive one, but I'm going to have to put my cynical side out.
#1 Too many damn spider books
#2 The GotG team looks really bad
#3 No Fantastic Four...
#4 MORE NUMBER ONE's, even books that were started like 4 months ago, are getting a reboot...
#5 Too many "all new" titles >_>
#6 RIP all the characters I loved in the old universe ;~;
Erm... So... I couldn't help but see that there's no sign of O.G. Thor anywhere...
I think Doctor Strange, Illuminati, & Ant-Man is all I'm goin' for. Maybe Karnak & Scarlet Witch. Maybe.
Ehhh, I'll probably wait til they come out and get reviewed before committing to anything, so far, the only ones that peak my interest are Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, and Old Man Logan.
I am dissapointed they don't have a Maestro-Hulk title(especially written by Peter David)at least Maestro will appear on conest of champions title(I don't think it will last long)
Anyway I am interesting (and probably put them to my pull list):Doctor Strange,Extraordinary X-MEN,Invincible Iron Man,Uncanny Avengers, totally awesome Hulk(even if he's Amadeous Cho)and maybe All New X-MEN and Amazing Spiderman
I usually stay away from Marvel but there is a few books here I might check out. I really like stories that don't revolve on knowing everything thats going on in the universe and focus mainly on the title character or team. Im doubting I will like all of em but Dr Strange, Old Man Logan, Spider-Gwen, and Miles Morales Spider-man don't look to bad.
Gonna pick up Squadron, Amazing, Old Man Logan, Daredevil, Deadpool, Daredevil, Drax, Karnak, Nova, Ultimates, Uncanny Avengers and Web Warriors. Looks like Jean is holding onto OM Logan on the Extraordinary X-Men cover so nope to that and I see no Cyclops. Gonna get whatever book he shows up in.
This is a just another cash grab from marvel..... it just pisses me off like no tomorrow. i can't lie there are some eye catching titles i would like to get but, some of them should not have just relaunched at issue 1 again. they should have did what DC did and continued a few at where some left off at after their event.
once again just a big cash grab from Marvel.
1 i guess we see the new hulk has blonde hair and earrings
2 spidey 2099 has a new costume sort of....
3 how many X-men and Avengers books are there ????
i can't lie and say i won't jump on a few of them, but they (marvel) just needs to stop with this let's do 5 to 10 issues for each title and just start all over again.... the f*** that ???
@slickymike88: young and new dog. I'm into it.
Why can't Black Panther have a solo?!?! Come on marvel, too many Spider-Man books and not even Black Panther to replace ONE of the many. 'Tis a sad day indeed
I'm not going to sit here and get upset. I'm going to look at the positives. Things that are going to continue to be on my pull-list/are continuing on from previous titles: Angela: Asgard's Assassin, Ant-Man, Daredevil (for at least a trade), Hawkeye, The Mighty Thor, Ms. Marvel, Sam Wilson, Captain America, Spider-Gwen, and Spider-Man. Some of these new titles look really cool too. A-Force has its own title and G. Willow Wilson will be sticking with it, now to just get Molina to stay. The All-New, All-Different Avengers has me interested. After Superior Iron Man I'll gladly jump on a Tom Taylor book, though X-23... whoops, Wolverine, wouldn't have been my first guess. All-New X-Men doesn't have Jean, which makes me both excited and kind of upset. Seeing that this is going to be a thing, I would have loved to have seen Josh Williamson on Carnage, but let see what happens. Daredevil gets an apprentice? After Waid's run you have me for a story arc at least. Mah boy Jason Aaron on Doctor Strange should be interesting. Josh Williamson on a book titled Illuminati... *clears throat* you have my attention. Didn't realize at first who was writing Karnak. If Ellis is on it I have to read it. I want to see what Lemire do on Old Man Logan. Squadron Supreme? Yes. Just. Yes. Pak on the Totally Awesome Hulk, I'll see what happens. Ultimates look really cool. The art's a bit shaky but I did like Captain America and the Mighty Avengers when I went back to read a few issues. And finally the Vision, well maybe I'll enjoy this.
AND DAMMIT no PUNISHER or even MOON KNIGHT!?!? I'm guessing MArvel is saving characters like Blade, Ghost RIder, Elektra, Black Panther, Punisher, Jessica Jones, Moon Knight, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist for second wave an more closer to Netflix releases and movies.
I'm still excited for a lot of these. I might check out check out:
Vision
Uncanny X-Men
Spider-Woman
Sam Wilson, Cap America
Spider-Man
Old Man Logan
Maybe Howlin Commandos just because it looks weird and awesome
Howard the Duck (OFCOURSE!)
Hawkeye
Maybe Guardians of the Galaxy
Extraordinary X-Men (F Yea Lemire. Damn Lemire doing 3 marvel books along with 3/4 other indie books. WOW DC really let him go)
All New Avengers
All New X-Men
Antman (F YEAH Nick Spencer and Superior Foes!)
Maybe Karnak
Amazing Spider-Man
Maybe Carnage
Ms Marvel
Drax (JUst becuase of CM PunK)
Maybe Doctor Strange
Daredevil (YES!)

Marvel head: give me the news
Assistant: our opponent company dc is revamping some of their books and they will have new number ones on the stand.
Marvel head: new number ones? Didnt we copyright that?
Assistant: no sir its impossible to copyright it.
Marvel head: ok then. We will relaunch all of our books with new number ones at the same time to reduce their sales and drive them further into the ground.
Assistant: great idea sir. That is why you are the boss i will get right to it!
Most of these have me totally whelmed. But at least Ramos is finally off of Spider...aaaand now he's ruining X-men *sigh*
Most of these don't do anything for me. WTF did they do to my boy Spiderman 2099?!? I'm starting to think Marvel doesn't want any of my money at all. All I get from these previews are...
Steve and Logan are still OLD
There's a few more Avengers teams...
Every other team is Uncanny
Kitty Pride's wearing her hubs' clothes
Girls, girls, girls...
... and Quicksilver's new suit looks horrible.
