This thread is to consolidate all planet-busters in Marvel. I'm only including those below Sky-father-level.

    Beta Ray Bill

Issue: Strombreaker: The Saga of Beta Ray Bill 3

    Fallen One

    Issue: Thanos 12

    Silver Surfer

    Issue: Silver Surfer Annual 7

    Terrax

Issue: Annihilation - Heralds of Galactus 1

    Hulk/Red She-Hulk

    Issue: Incredible Hulk 634

    Gladiator

    Issue: Unknown

    Nova

Issue: Silver Surfer vol 3 #9

NOTE: Not a planet destruction but a star's destruction and result in a black hole.

    HONOURABLE MENTIONS

This is dedicated to those that didn't quite bust a planet technically but did something very impressive.

    Thor

Issue: Thor God of Thunder 2 and 9

Deed: Mjolnir is said to be able to "shatter planets as easy as pebbles." Thor while fighting Gorr caused near by planets to crack.

    Blue Marvel

Issue: Adam Legend of Blue Marvel #3

Deed: Nearly busted the moon in half by throwing his Congressional Medal of Honour.

    Grey Hulk

    Issue: Marvel Comics Presents 52

Deed: Busted up an asteroid twice the size of Earth.

What about Black Bolt? Isn't it possible for him?

Also,Thor (I believe that in,Thor:GOT,his blows shattered planets) and Gladiator (similar feat of blows shattering planets or something like that). And there are TONS more

    Also,this is an excellent thread

I'm in the middle of compiling a Black Bolt respect thread, stay tuned, which I'm not aware of any planetary feats from him.

    Gladiator, good catch, just added.

Thor, not sure, if someone has references I'll add them.

Does eating a sun count as planet busting? Because if so you've forgotten Jean Grey/Phoenix Force.

I'd put Phoenix Force around or above Sky-Father, so probably won't include it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hmm seeing as you discount the PF, I suppose Surtur is also out? (Since he destroyed a galaxy to make his sword).

Correct. I know Sky-fathers and above and wipe out galaxies and universes in some cases. Maybe I'll start another thread, or make a side bar for those folks as well.

I'm pretty sure it was Silver Surfer Annual #7 where Morg was defeated. Beta Ray Bill and Stardust was probably in Stormbreaker: The Saga of Beta Ray Bill #3, but I'll have to check if that's the correct issue number (I know it was that series).

Frankie Raye easily destroyed a star once. Does that count for your list?

@green_skaar: Even better, I had time to scan it. Silver Surfer vol 3 #9

Edit: I also always like to mention that Nova is the weakest of the Heralds of Galactus. ;)

There is one Thor feat I'm thinking of when he goes mad during Blood and Thunder and fights BRB where he smashes a 'planet.'

    No Caption Provided

The problem is that I'm not certain whether Thor being out of his head contributed to the feat. Plus there's a problem in that the debris doesn't look large enough to be planet sized. It could have been an asteroid for all I know. I've tried to find the scans that show where Thor and BRB fought but I can't clarify whether their battleground was planet sized, asteroid sized or moon sized. Can anyone who's read Blood and Thunder clarify this?

Oh also Thor shattered a small section of the armour of a Celestial which would most likely need planet busting force to crack it given how powerful Celestials are.

Thank you. I'll check out the first feet tonight when I'm home and have access. The second feat is very impressive, but for now dealing with planetary/space feats.

Correct. I'll include other "space" feats effecting large asteroids, moons, stars, etc.

Are there any new characters who have busted a planet in the last 5 years?

I don't expect for DC, sometimes looks like a taboo to destroy a celestial body, in Marvel I'm almost sure there exist.

Sometimes in DC busting a Planet looks like Top Dog of said story. for Marvel it's something normal between High Tiers.
