It seems as though a lot of characters are pawns in a political movement.

Marvel is doing just fine. They've got the MCU and the sales to prove it.

I know their doing fine. That's not what I meant. I'm asking if Marvel comics is ruining their characters.

If I look at the big picture, considering the ups and downs of the history of Marvel publishing, then I have to say that no, they are not ruining their characters. This isn't even close to Marvel's worst era in terms of how their characters are being treated.

Naaah. They can regain their balance. MCU is doing well anyway.

They need to realize writers need to be writers and have time to take characters where they want to take them
