We had to make way for the HULK first (as you must, unless you want to get squished like the puny human you are) but there are actually a lot of other Marvel titles being floated around for TV. The most relevant one at the moment is CLOAK & DAGGER which, by THR’s reckoning, is being developed as a TV show for ABC Family.  I honestly never got into the adventures of this odd couple, but a lot of artists I worked with just love them, so go figure. I don’t know if there’s enough to their premise to make them stand alone outside the Marvel universe. Reportedly, Jeph Loeb is meeting with writers, right now, who’re going to make some very compelling cases as to how these spooky kids can stand on their own.

But it doesn’t end there.  Apparently, Marvel TV delivered a presentation of possible titles to Disney in the spring which are now gaining some headway.   The list included…

• KA-ZAR
• PUNISHER
• HEROES FOR HIRE
• THE ETERNALS
• DAUGHTERS OF THE DRAGON
• MOON KNIGHT, THE RED HOOD
• AGENTS OF ATLAS, ALTER EGO

Some quick comments - - == TEASER ==

• I don’t know if the inclusion of the Red Hood with Moon Knight is a typo. I suppose Marc Spector could be teaming up with Jason Todd, but the prospect seems unlikely.
• AGENTS OF ATLAS, ALTER EGO seems to be a riff on ALIAS.   The plot description goes like this “private investigator Jessica Jones takes on cases involving superhumans.” I’m sure they had to change the name on account of that Jennifer Garner show, although I’ll be curious if this means she’ll be teaming up with 3D Man and the Uranian.
• PUNISHER could easily work as TV show, but only if it were a no-holds-barred TV-MA cable program (as the article mentions.) Ennis’ MAX run basically read like a HBO show.
• HEROES FOR HIRE, DAUGHTERS OF THE DRAGON and KA-ZAR sound like they’d be the easiest ones to turn into TV shows, especially if the latter is modeled (as the plot description suggests) after the Waid/Kubert run from the late 90s that put the jungle man in New York’s concrete jungle.

I hope these shows are still in the movie continuity and not separate entity altogether.

It could work.

Punisher and Disney.  Two things that absolutely should not go together.  With that said, I freakin' love Cloak and Dagger.  Maybe a MVC3 appearance?  

Heroes for Hire would be awesome, Cloak and Dagger too.

Eh, I'm dubious of live action superhero shows.  They almost never have the special effects budget to do the powers and big battle justice.

i will check out the the other shows as well  except punisher show i hate him. 

They're going to screw this up.

I don't want a Heroes for Hire TV series if that means no Iron Fist movie. Same thing goes for the Hulk.

wow very cool news Tom. I'm one of those art lovers who was scooping up all things Dagger long long ago. I will love to see this in motion.

i wouldnt mind seeing a Cloak & Dagger show..Heroes For Hire would be easy...i could see them messing up Moon Knight for some reason...i doubt Ka-Zar would go past one season

If Moon Knight & The Red Hood were to do a crossover that would be rated hire than MA

I can see them doing KAZAR, the movie would be like Tarzan mixed with Jurassic Park.

Normally, I'd be very excited at the prospect of a Cloak and Dagger show (though I'd probably prefer a good movie), but, like others have pointed out, aren't they a little dark for ABC Family? And if they intend to whitewash their history, why even bother in the first place?

ABC can do "dark" shows... Lost was on ABC if you havn't forgotten and that wasn't exactly "Family Friendly" most of the time. Anyways, as far as the shows go... 
 
Cloak & Dagger - could be interesting, but for ABC Family they would indeed have to make it less dark. 
Ka-Zar - don't really care about, but as some have said a mix of Tarzan & Land of the Lost would work here. 
Punisher - Would REALLY like to see this. Castle could work on the small screen, maybe as a Primetime ABC Action-Drama. (Though personally, now that Marvel has his rights back I would rather see him show up in the marvel movie universe somehow). 
Heroes for Hire - would be awesome, but it would have to star Luke Cage & Iron Fist to be truely epic. 
 Moon Knight, The Red Hood - The way the description was written, it seems like "The Red Hood" refers to The Hood (Parker R.). Remember folks, he tried to be a good guy before he went [i]to the dark side[/i]

Please please please let them make Alter Ego. A Jessica Jones tv show would be great, the swearing might need to go but fuck it, stick it on HBO, just get it made!

DAMN! Disney and Moon Knight are 2 words that should NEVER be in the same goddamn country.

The characters of Cloak and Dagger are interesting and good characters, but their supporting cast are not.

Good deal! TV Shows are always a good idea to introduce lesser-known characters instead of big-budget movies. Also, Punisher on a channel like FX or HBO would be a great idea!

I fail to see Disney making a good Moon Knight or Punisher adaptation 

A Cloak & Dagger show could be interesting, though I think it would do well as a movie instead of a show.  Now Atlas, that's what I'm hoping for. It's a bit of a surprise to see it being considered but I think it could be a very good TV show if they handled it correctly. The comics are awesome... too bad Marvel had to cancel the series again.

they all sound really REALLY good, and I know some people that would absolutely die for a HBO Spawn-style 'Punisher' cartoon
 
but that said, 'odd couple' is right, and a series this dark would only get the 'sterile treatment' at ABC Fam'
