    Marvel Zombies: Vol. 1: Issue #1: The Great, The Gothic, and the Gory

    This comic has beautiful gothic art akin to a painting and excellent writing that shows a zombie apocalypse with empathetic zombies while also having building dread for each character, where you don't know if they will live or die, and I wouldn't expect less from the creator of The Walking Dead.
