Just a Walk in the Park

This issue is one story split into three separate viewpoints. It is well put together and fun to read--yes I know this is supposed to be a kids book!

The Good

I hate to say this (as I mention it in all my reviews--well almost) the Art. Super Hero Squad-ish art reminds me of the good 'ol days of Saturday morning cartoons. The good news is you don't have to read these on Saturday to enjoy them! I like the hard-line of the pencils and the colors add extra "environment" to each panel.

I also really enjoyed the plot. Not necessarily the individual stories themselves, but how it all tied together into one--larger--storyline. I'm not a huge fan of co-features but this one worked out and served their purposes. Is the Hulk really dumb? Throughout this book there is little ounces of humor tossed in and is a great replacement for the Deadpool or Spidey humor some of you may be missing.

The Bad

Hmmmm, what can I say here? Oh! There were too many ads scattered throughout the book (no more than any other issue we read nowadays). Yeah, the ads were a horrible distraction and detracted from my reading.

Verdict (4/5)

Once again, great story, good cartooning, and liked how the plot elements all tied-together. With this being said, I'm going to award this one a 4 out of 5 stars. Awe, do I really have to wait until the next one?
