    Anthologies were what built the comics medium. Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and many others first appeared in anthologies. D.C. Comics even derives it's name from one of it's titles which was once an anthology series. One of the great advantages of anthologies is the ability to try new things, to be exposed to several different comic story lines for one low price. Sadly, anthologies slowly disappeared over the years. Recent attempts to revive them have met with mediocre success at...
