When Ultron searched the web, he saw that people kill each other all the time. He said “you want to protect the world, but you don’t want it to change”. Which means “why the hell are you protecting them if they kill each other anyway, why are you saving them if after that you don’t teach them how to live in peace”. So, in his mind, the most efficient way to achieve peace is to destroy humanity.The biggest threat to humanity is humanity itself. I respect Ultron.
Apparently he could've instantly killed everyone in New York Battle, and probably even Thanos himself with his DiReCt TeLeKiNeSiS! But he chose not to, because he's aware that he was in a PG13 movie.
I wouldn’t say I “respect” any of them. I feel more emotionally connected to IW Thanos and Loki. Thanos legit was going out of his way not to kill anyone in order to let the stones decide to be completely fair. He genuinely just wanted to save the universe, in his own Mad Titan way. Loki deep down only wanted to be accepted by Odin and seen as an equal to Thor.
