So, MCU Spider-¿Man? victim of MCU's Nerf Stick

MCU Spiderman is the lamest and weakest cinematic version of the character so far, he was hit with the now famous MCU's Nerf Stick.

Man this Stick is really MCU biggest enemy, it makes most powerhouses (or even mid tier level people like Parker) look like chumps: first victims were Hulk, then Thor, Ultron, Drax and now Spidey.

    - Garfield Man had better speed and a completely OP Spider-Sense

    - Tobey Man was FAR stronger (one of the most OP Spider-Men ever), a better fighter not to mention his insane durability.

Watching the airport fight I was thinking ''man, Tobey Spidey would make short work of these chumps like nothing''

And please dont make the ''he was SpiderBoy for only six monhts'' excuse considering Garfield Spiderman mastered his powers (and build a proper suit by himself) in a couple of weeks.

Its seems the guys in charge have a strong hard on with the shitty street level characters.......

I doubt OP has ever actually read any classic Spider-Man comics. Peter Parker has gone through some uncanny character development during the time between being 15 freakin years old and now. And yeah, just like Holland, he wasn't too experienced in the beginning. But from a sheer power perspective, Holland was shockingly strong already. (He caught that jetway or whatever it was over his head with barely a sweat. Cap pulled down a five ton helicopter with one arm but Winter's metal arm overpowered his whole body. Spider caught that metal arm in one hand like it was nothing. He's far passed a 10 tonner). Once he gets a movie or two of his own under his belt, I'm sure people will change their tune. The MCU doesn't have a nerf stick, in reality most comic vine users just get their info on characters from scans and respect threads and 30 or so highest-end feats from across the character's entire 60 year history instead of reading comics.

Sorry, but I dont want to wait for two more of these ''movies'' (or two hours TV episodes) to get a proper Spider-Man fighting in a proper way, is just a waste of time.

After Garfield and Maguire Spider-Men, this high pitched voiced Spider-Kid is just underwelming

I thought this spiderman was cool, with his main faults being inexperience and some immaturity. While the other spidermen seem to have better feats, they also had more exposure, so that is hardly unexpected.

He's a kid, let him grow up, let him develop his powers. Because he's clearly stronger than Cap, but just inexperienced.

Look Bladewolf made a thread where he cries about the MCU because deep in his heart he knows it's good.

Didn't he effortlessly stop winter soldiers metal arm and take out both Falcon and WS at the same time? And didn't he catch a giant pilar and bring down Giant man?

He's been Spider-Man for six months going up against seasoned soldiers, I can see how he was a bit overwhelmed, though, I hope he gets more physical in his own films.

To be fair Miles is younger and he's stomping on dudes like Blackheart with little effort.

When Peter began he was losing to the likes of the Vulture and Mysterio, two of his villains which are often deemed the weakest of his rogues gallery.

    Your point OP?

This Spider-man was a lot stronger than Garfield or Maguire's Spider-man. My main issue was that he didn't seem as fast as the previous Spider-men.

    just saw the movie

    Spiderman got nerfed

    • Spidersense was pretty much absent
    • He's clumsy af
    • he didn't really beat the vulture, the vulture beat himself
    • he... makes most of the situation worse... monument incident was kinda his fault, and so was the ferry incident.
    • his spider sticking abilities... man... like the hell, he keeps losing his stickiness.
    • easily fatigued, like he has minimal spider powers
    • he's just academically smart, he's kinda dumb on hiding his secret identity.
    • not impressed with his spider strength.

Lol this thread is stupid. The character is growing. It's called good writing, characters grow into their power. Movies aren't versus topics and I'm glad you and your kind would never be allowed into a writing room.

    I don't think Spider-Man should be very powerful. He's always been street-level.
