What’s clear is that the Netflix shows do exist in some type of post-heroes world so maybe something like The Avengers did happen.

I remember the old Highlander TV Series. The same actor can play two different characters. I had no problems with that. And I have no problem with the casting of Blade.

It was never really canon tbh lol. Past a few tongue and cheek references to the 2012 Avengers movie it was pretty much it's own thing like AOS. That defiantly exist in a world a kin to the Avengers but I highly doubt it takes place in the same universe as any thing after The Avengers in 2012

I've never really cared. These shows have never been affected by the movies or vice versa, so I don't see it as important if they're canon or not.

Marvel has confirmed they are recycling scenes from the 2003 Daredevil movie and editing those scenes into the Phase 4 MCU movies, they will get Ben Affleck to redub scenes for that version of Daredevil.

I kind of imagine it taking place in an alternate universe to the MCU. Although there are references to the attack on New York, they also reference Obama as being the President even though we see that in Iron Man 3 that isn’t the case.

People have been calling Marvel lazy because they cannot get new actors and just want to recycle older movie scenes and edit them into the MCU. lately I've seen fans bashing marvel saying its too much like Power Rangers with just recycled footage.

And Power Rangers is kind of different. They don't recycle their own footage, just footage from the over seas counterpart most PR fans have never seen

I can see why some fans on some marvel forums are mad because that means marvel is not even trying and just being too lazy to get new actors.

Marvel writers came really close to having Spider-Man: Far From Home recycle scenes of J. Jonah Jameson from the sam raimi spider man movies and having the actor J. K. Simmons redub the scenes of J.J.J.

This was a deleted scene from Avengers Endgame that used recycled X-Men footage.

I still don't understand why anyone cares whether the shows are canon or not. The movies were never going to have appearances from show characters, and the shows can and probably will continue referencing the movies regardless. Just appreciate the shows for what they are, especially given how good most of them are.

Cottonmouth's sister was in Civil War as a civil cervant and then in Luke Cage she was a thug that never really mentioned Stark who she met and talked to in Civil War. Also with her son killed in Sokovia... I mean come on now.
