@rogueshadow: When I finished episode one and they mentioned that thing, I screamed like a little girl.

Yeah it was really cool, Judas bullets now bouncing off him is a damn good feat, he is really fricking durable, he's had some bananas feats and I'm still early on in the season.
@_kingoflatveria: Claire's hypothesis is that the acid bath Luke took during season 1 increased his durability, which is why he can no longer be pierced by them.
Well that was a risk they took with the ending. I do wonder where they go from now? And will the snap ever be addressed?
Loved Bushmaster his backstory, character moments, and the actor really shined. My only real issue is that Mariah gets too much screen time, and that Shades seems to have meant way too many bad choices.Overall it’s definitely in the upper tier of the Netflix shows
@rogueshadow: Woodard was very good throughout the season. And I did enjoy Bushmaster thoroughly.
At some points, I felt Luke was slightly OOC...but nothing that detracted from my overall enjoyment.
That being said, Bushmaster was stated to be amped beyond his usual physical abilities when he casually bullet-timed. :P :P :P
^ Nah if you remember when we first see him, whenever Nigels guys fire at him he clearly dodges the bullets

Bushmaster was potentially twice as strong and Luke still beat his ass.
@rogueshadow: Luke's decent skillwise.
He uses his physicals very effectively.
But don't forget that Bushmaster was kicking the crap out of him in that fight until way later on.
Also, I think Luke is gonna show up in IFS2. I think Colter slipped up when he said he's filming until March even though LC finished filming in November.
I found this season to be far better than the last one. I really liked most of the characters this time and I like that Luke's got a bit more of an edge on this one (he is meaner and rougher). The ending was really awesome and It takes the series on a direction I didn't really see coming but that I am hyped for because I always found the idea interesting as a concept.
Also I wonder if they will show some ramifications on the other shows.
I think that the concept of a syndicate/collective of crime-bosses is going to be the biggest ramification for the other shows and could very well be the catalyst for the next team-up down the line. Carbone is a Punisher villain but is supposed to be in DDS3, and I'm guessing will be in TPS2 as well.
I feel like they are building to Kingpin getting out and make them all his bitches.
Regarding Luke's new role... I think there's potential for conflict between Luke and the other Defenders down the line, but I doubt it will stick.
any news on DDS3 release date?
It might actually be coming after IFS2, though the evidence for that seems pretty weak to me it is plausible. I doubt we'll hear anything until SDCC if Daredevil is there, which I think it probably will be, but only IFS2 is confirmed right now.
@rogueshadow: definitely possible, IFS2 had ended filming by May, a month before DDS3, and they're still both expected to be released in 2018.
probably the only one i'm looking forward to at this point as well, but crossing my fingers it's coming in like september

The filming schedule definitely makes it possible, plus the fact that I think some of the threads established in LCS2 will continue in IFS2 and culminate in DDS3 with the Kingpin and Daredevil's return. And Daredevil's absence may feed into IFS2 and him becoming a vigilante.
Not gonna lie this season of Luke Cage, particularly the finale, felt super heavy. Didn't expect that mariah would really die.Also didn't expect him to pull a "The King of Hell's Kitchen" and become the Kingpin of Harlem. I enjoyed the season and can't wait for the next one but damn this ending is going to eat at me for a while.
@dstreet45: I have to agree with you on the ending. I'm still marinating in it after just finishing it, and I'm not sure how to process it all.

I think they've said that Defenders was always a 1-time thing, that they weren't planning S2 down the line.

Loeb's said they aren't planning it but I really doubt they never team up again tbh.
Honestly, Luke cage season two was okay. What I hate about the show is how they mention race 24/7, say the N word and being racist. Personally, I feel like they need a new showrunner. I'm just not a fan of the whole pro- black thing that's going on in the show.
Patty Cake ?

Wow.
@the_magister: "wow" what?
It feels like Luke Cage season 2 was basically GTA + Saints Row....especially at the end, you always get a new crib at the end of those games and its always ballin
Just wanted to know if you guys think Bushmaster is a bullet timer?
Yeah, he dodged that bullet point blank after it was fired
@the_magister: "wow" what?
Wow, just...your statement.
Not gonna get political in here, but damn.
Season 2's great, entertaining and exciting. You also get to connect with the characters which is really great. Bushmasta is great, Luke's great, Misty is even better and Iron Fist was surprisingly good as well lol, I'm on episode 12 as of now
@the_magister: Did it bother you? Whats wrong with it?
I'm really surprised with Luke Cage Season 2. I admit that I was not getting as hyped as I used to with the Netflix shows. Iron Fist was mediocre, Defenders was enjoyable but disappointing, Punisher was pretty good, unfortunately, critics only got the first half of the episodes which kinda hurt its reviews and Jessica Jones Season 2 really stretched the story after episode 7. With this season, I'm now hopeful for Marvel Netflix's future, especially considering they aren't afraid of crossing characters from different shows and that they aren't afraid of taking unexpected turns for characters we love.
No seriously did anyone notice he got cut out of large portions of his own show? I don't think he is "boring", but he's still not where he should be as a character IMO. The try hard "brother" with the swear jar morals....They basically are turned him into black Superman, and I just don't like the taste in my mouth. Even when they tried to make him edgier, and add some grey to his white knight, it still didn't always work for me. Sometimes I enjoy it, but other times when they are laying it on thick like when he dabbed in the video. I freaking cringed. Mariah is a great ghetto Lex Luthor though.
I think this season was good, I was just as or little more entertained.
