The Incredible Hulk

I have found that Hulk's speed is often underrated for one main reason: the perception that Hulk is a slow character or peak human. The problem is not that Hulk has dozens of speed feats, but the perception and low ends feats are still used.

I'll go movie by movie and show some of the speed feats that Hulk has shown, demonstrating that Hulk has Always been a fast character.

The Incredible Hulk:

Ok, here we go. Hulk's speed feats are very solid since his first appareance in the MCU.

Hulk reacts to an explosion and makes a shockwave with his thunderclap move.

Abomination was able to catch an RPG while having his back turned.

Hulk outpaces Abomination to the point he is in slow motion, almost a statue in close combat. This feat shows that Hulk can blitz and get faster/stronger during the fights.

Hulk and Abomination were able to make a powerful shockwave and break the sound barrier with their superjump collision. This is a travel speed feat.

Avengers:

Hulk catches an ejection seat while being distracted.. he had less than a second to react.

Hulk catches Mjolnir , which was able to break the sound barrier multiple times.

Hulk leaps and blitzes chitauris soldiers, which were able to fight with Hawkeye and Widow.

Hulk catches Iron Man falling from the sky at likely mach speeds.

Hulk can move so fast that he is seen in a blur while blitzing Widow.

Hulk catches an RPG-7 in a tie-in comics relevant to The Avengers.

Avengers Age of Ultron:

Hulk reacts to military gunfire.

Hulk crawls up through a building so fast that he keeps up with Hulkbuster flying upwards.

Hulk reacts to a flying Hulkbuster replacement part while having his back turned.

Hulk jumps at very fast speed while carrying Widow.

Hulk catches an aircraft while it was going at mach speeds.

Here we can clearly see the distance and how much did Hulk travel in those seconds.

Hulk and Hulkbuster were able to make shockwaves and a Mach cone with their punches. This pretty much suggest supersonic punches.

Thor: Ragnarok:

Hulk catches Thor while he was getting ragdolled.

Hulk jumps very fast and catches the asgardian ship that was in the sky.

Blitzes Thor with his puny god move.

Cactches and reacts to a flying Thor.

Hulk easily jumps high enough to tag Surtur while he watches Hulk in slow motion.

I Prime Surtur is confirmed to have been 800 meters tall at his shortest height(Source) And he seemed to be at least 1-2 kilometers from Thor and Valkyrie yet Hulk reached him insanely fast. This is a supersonic travel speed feat

Hulk manages to breach Thor's defensive and land a punch.

Avengers Infinity War:

Hulk blitzes Thanos with a bullrush that shaked the entire ship.

Avengers Endgame:

Hulk blitzes a chitauri soldier while carrying a car in his back.

Conclusion:

Hulk has shown to be very fast for someone of his size and type of fighting style. He has clear supersonic feats in term of reactions and punches, his reactions and speed have always been consistent and here, whatever if people didn't know them or picked his worst feats. Hulk doesn't always use this speed in combat, but he certainly has it when he needs it for fighting powerful opponents.

In conclusion: Hulk can keep it up and he is not a slow poke, supersonic travel and combat speed it's right for him.

Nice work! MCU Hulk is one of the most underrated characters of the cinematic universe and threads like this can remind people of what he is capable of.

I must say that I do not fully agree to all of the feats presented, like the one he supposedly reacts to gunfire. But a vast majority show how fast and agile Hulk is.

Good RT, agree with most. I wouldn't count AoU 'reacting to gunfire' feat though as he got tagged by those bullets and reacted to it only when gunfire stopped IMO.

@chaoselement: During the movie Incredible Hulk, Hulk travels from Porto Verde, Brazil to Guatemala in a span of 7-12 hours. This is a distance of 6,187 kilometers. Hulk most likely traveled this distance with his leaping ability.

As I said it as likely since the distance was very large and he was there in a second. Given his casual supersonic travel speed, I think it’s fair to consider them at that type of speed.

According to this distance calculator, that's 3577.99 miles, or around 5 758 216.74 m.

Well, first of all, nice thread overall.

MCU Hulk can both underrated and overrated here on Comicvine and I agree that for his size Hulk is surprisibgly fast and agile. Leaping ability is still the best in current generation CBM. Still, several of posted feats don't make much sense to me.
