    Judge Dredd?

    I can't help but wonder, was this a ripoff of Judge Dredd? Was it a forced attempt at being "edgy"? I can't assume these things because I haven't heard anything about Marshal Law's origin, but it does seem to be the case. Needless to say, it falls well short of the genius of Judge dredd. I can recommend a good Marshal Law story, though. Check out Pinhead vs Marshal Law: Law in Hell, if you can find it.
