Mark Bloodworth created the urban crime comic book Nightstreets for Arrow Comics from 1985-1989. In early 1990, he took over art duties on Deadworld also for Arrow. After a few issues Mark had assumed both art and writing on the book. In 1991, he was contracted by Marvel Comics to create character design, illustrations,and story art for Clive Barker's: Hellraiser.
He has illustrated many more titles, such as Cheerleaders From Hell, Jack The Ripper, Raven Chronicles, The Ripper Legacy for Caliber Comics, Desperado's Deadworld Chronicles and Abel.
He has also worked as a commercial artist and concept artist.
Most recently he worked on the 2011 original graphic novel Deadworld: The Last Siesta for IDW.
