In Marc Spector's Long Island mansion, a three-way battle takes place between Moon Knight, Gambit and the Werewolf.  The fight rages until Moon Knight commands his hovercraft, the Angelwing, to blast a hole in the wall then lock its guns on the two intruders.  Things calm down, and Gambit explains his presence there is to warn Moon Knight that his fellow X-Man Psylocke had, during the infinity War, psychically detected a health risk.  Feeling invaded by the psychic probe, Moon Knight dismisses Gambit and his warning, then turns to the Werewolf to ask what his intent is.  The lycanthrope relates how he sensed the demonic taint on Moon Knight, a result of the Crescent Crusader's encounter with the possessed Hobgoblin.  Moon Knight protests that he's been purged of that taint, and the Werewolf realizes what he now senses are the stains on Moon Knight's outfit left by the resin secreted by Glaze, one of the Hellbent.  They join forces and head for Central Park.
On the way, Moon Knight contacts his assistant, Jean-Paul DuChamp, to ask about leads discovered by his Shadow Cabinet.  Only one, Junior Birdman, has anything: the location of a recent sighting of Glaze, and her ally, Cubist.  However, wanting to determine the connection between the Hellbent and his own destiny as Bloodline, Jean-Paul does not relay the lead to Moon Knight.
Moon Knight and the Werewolf search the park till they come upon a group of Hellbent, and a battle erupts, while the Manx, the savage agent of the Knights Templar, looks on from a treetop.  The Hellbent gain the upper hand when Glaze encases the heroes within a sheath of her resin.
Downtown, meanwhile, Marc Spector's researchers and his PR Director, Donna Kraft, look into the business moves of PhalkonCorp.  Simultaneously, at his rival's offices, Marlene Alraune grows uneasy with her increasing awareness of Seth Phalkon's intentions of taking over SpektorCorp.
Back in Central Park, Gambit's timely arrival releases Moon Knight and the Werewolf and the tide turns as the trio overcome their opponents.  The conflict ends when Manx slaughters the remaining four Hellbent, then vanishes.
The three heroes each go their separate ways, Moon Knight returning to his headquarters, the Shadowkeep.  There, Jean-Paul continues repairs on equipment that, unknown to them, is being damaged by a gremlin that now hides in Moon Knight's new custom-built automobile.
