    An Island Unto Himself...

    The Good:

Bunn does a great job of taking a former supremely powerful character and relegating him to almost street level adventures. Magneto's powers have been greatly reduced but that doesn't stop him from doing whatever is necessary to protect the mutant race. He isn't afraid to get down and dirty and use whatever means possible to achieve this goal.

There are also some excellent flashback scenes that show how his character was forged through tragedy and loss in his past. Mag's dark past definitely has influenced the man he is today and Bunn showcases that nicely with these scenes.

The art is a bit chaotic due to multiple artists but it fits the tone of this series very well. Magneto is not in a bright happy place and the art reflects that.

    The Bad:

No real complaints besides the first arc ending a bit abruptly. If you're a fan of Magneto I would highly recommend this series.
