    @thewhitecrown:

    Of course your forgetting about the science = magic beings aka the abstract forces like Mzy, Manhattan, Beyonder, Solar, Molecule Man and White Lantern Kyle who fold all magic user to the floor.

    @batmanandrobin: In the larger context of everything we've seen in DC, magic isn't exactly a programming error left over from the scraps of the universe as he claimed. Magic was an integral part of the higher order of existence. Through it, the Sphere of Gods, which transcends the normal multiverse. Therefore, his scientific analysis was on the very premises incorrect. That being said, yes he, after analyzing it, was able to use magic himself, and he was brokenly overpowered with it compared to everyone else. And then he rejoiced that he learned the existence of something new. Also, if you time the whole connective energy thing into it technically Dr Manhattan's Powers at the basis of it aren't inherently scientific, they're Cosmic.

    That being said, science is not a force, science is an applied system of study to observe and study phenomena, by way of the scientific method. Magic is a force, esoteric energy, metaphysical phenomena that can be harnessed (by specific parties), manipulated, studied (in specific ways), and altered depending on the will of the user (e.g., a magical creature, Sorcerer, Spirit, Magician, Demon, or God). Also, Goddess of Truth Wonder Woman (magic)<The Darkest Knight<Perpetua<Ultramonitor<Dr Manhattan.
