@batmanandrobin: In the larger context of everything we've seen in DC, magic isn't exactly a programming error left over from the scraps of the universe as he claimed. Magic was an integral part of the higher order of existence. Through it, the Sphere of Gods, which transcends the normal multiverse. Therefore, his scientific analysis was on the very premises incorrect. That being said, yes he, after analyzing it, was able to use magic himself, and he was brokenly overpowered with it compared to everyone else. That being said, science is not a force, science is an applied system of study to observe and study phenomena, by way of the scientific method.
