Madara and Kaos are similar creatures. Born with extraordinary powers, both had them taken away by Emperor Miroku. A legend foretold that the warrior destined to dethrone Miroku would have the crest of a dragon etched on his forehead. Madara bears this crest. In order to prevent the ancient prophecy from becoming a reality, Miroku separated his son's body into eight partsdividing them amongst his demon Moki generals for safekeeping. Kaos, too, has suffered a lossthe entire left half of his body is being held captive by Miroku. In order to survive the Mokiridden world, both warriors have artificial limbs and gadgets to compensate for their missing body parts.
There is one difference between these two adversaries: destiny versus desire. Even though Madara fits the profile of the young warrior destined to overthrow the evil dictator and become the true king of all beings, Kaos covets the throne and has far superior warrior training. Although Kaos has "pledged" allegiance to Miroku and been ordered to kill Madara, Kaos plans to follow through solely to eliminate his rival.
And now, as fate would have it, these two combatants prepare to faceoff in the Corridor of Fire. Will destiny prevail? Or will desire? It's Madara versus Kaos in Volume 2 of MADARA!
