    Luz Delgado was a member of HEART Corp which stood for Humans Engaging All Racial Terrorism. HEART was brought together by Tyler Meagher and it was a for-profit organization consisted of highly trained women in all aspects of combat and warfare. Delgado's specialty was recon and electronics. HEART is hired by the Cypress Hills Community Action Group when numerous killing started to occur and children were missing from the neighborhood. HEART believed Ghost Rider was responsible for the carnage and went after him. They would set up motion detectors at the Cypress Hills Cemetery and engage Ghost Rider as he protects a civilian from the killer known as Blackout. Ghost Rider is wounded by their weaponry but he is taken underground by some Morlocks. HEART would later follow Ghost Rider underground where they see the missing children being attended to by members of X-Factor. They open fire on X-Factor because they initially thought they were a threat but Jean Grey protected the children from the gunfire. Delgado and the rest of the HEART unit retreat because the involvement of the mutants were not in their planned scenario.  

    Luz Delgado is later killed in an explosion when the HEART headquarters is ambushed by soldiers from an organization called the FIRM.  


    Luz Delgado was created by Howard Mackie and Javier Saltares in 1990 and first appeared in Ghost Rider # 8.

    Luz Delgado is highly trained in various forms of combat and warfare but her specialty was recon and electronics. She was proficient in marksmanship with various firearms.
