Michael Peña as Luis
Michael Peña as Luis
  • Luis originated in the 2015 Ant-Man movie, played by Michael Peña. In the film, he is a former petty criminal who was Scott Lang's cellmate at San Quentin State Prison in California. The two men became best friends during their time together, and Luis allowed Scott to begin living with him after being released. Despite Scott wishing to stay on the straight and narrow, Luis soon recruits him to help rob the home of Hank Pym, a wealthy inventor and businessman. The event leads to Scott eventually reforming and becoming the superhero Ant-Man. When Scott partners with Hank Pym and his daughter Hope to stop Darren Cross, Luis and his fellow ex-cons Dave and Kurt work with the heroes to help steal the prototype Yellowjacket armor and destroy Cross' Pym Particle technology. The situation causes Luis to have a change of heart, as he realizes that he likes being a "good guy."
  • Michael Peña reprises his role in the 2018 sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp. In the time since the first film, Luis has sought to live a more honest life, and now runs a private security company called X-Con Security Consultants. He once again helps the heroes, this time against Ghost and Sonny Burch.
