Getting his powers by complete accident, Lucien Gates is the all new Ray, a light-powered superhero prepared to fight for the people and city he cares about.
After six-issue mini-series introduction of Lucien Gates (new version of Ray) ends, do you want to see him as a part of one of the already established teams? Which team?
It's 4 issues, I think. Last month's cover may have had a misprint on it, as DC's solicitations do not list any further Ray issues after #4
Also, I don't mind the old Ray being brought in via Earth 2 or some other alternate universe and being on a team. But Lucien deserves a solo. He has the supporting cast, the setting, and a built-up enough personality to have one. I reviewed #3 earlier today, and I think this character has potential.
I'd be upset if he just gets tacked on to some team.
In #4, Lucien was offered to join 'a special division of homeland security comprised of people with superhuman activities'. I wonder what team the unknown man was talking about?

Freedom Fighters
That could perhaps be the new JLA being led by Martian Manhunter. I believe their reason for creation in the new 52 is exactly that. However, they've shown the roster and he doesn't seem to be in it... They might put him in later on though.
