History

When San Drad, California became overrun by the Aliens, the cybernetically-enhanced Major Dutch Schaefer and Lieutenant Linn Kurosawa of the United States Colonial Marine Corps were abandoned by their superiors and cornered by a swarm of the Alien drones. Before they were killed, two members of the Predator race appeared and destroy the Aliens. The Predators offer an alliance with the two humans in order to stop the Alien infestation.

"A cyborg who lead the 13th Colonial Marine Corps. A master of ancient martial arts which she combines with her super strength for lethal effect. Always equipped with a Japanese Katana, the blade represents her soul."

Kurosawa was the product of ambitious Japanese corporations, the latest of cyborg technology, combining superhuman strength, speed, familiarity with all types of weapons, and a prototype programming that gives her virtually all the martial arts ever created. She was especially adept in the Japanese sword art of Kendo, among other styles. She used a katana blade as a personal defense weapon. When all of her team except for Dutch Shafer were wiped out, she an Dutch joined forces with two Yautja to destroy the Hive.

Alien vs. Predator is a 1994 beat'em up arcade game developed and distributed by Capcom. It was one in a line of crossovers of the Aliens and Predator franchises, though there was only one arcade game, and Capcom produced none of the console games. The heroine Linn Kurosawa made cameos in other games.
