So I thought of this while on the way to an appointment, and was wondering how would Link be if he was a super elf? Now he won't have super powers really, more like he'll have qualities that make him better then what he already is. So no crazy powers like that of Superman(flying, ice breath, etc), make them normal in the sense that he would be a good match for a few other villains from DC/Marvel but not so normal that he sucks or whatever. You can choose however many qualities for him that you could think of, and they could range from anything just as long as they are in the grounds of being somewhat normal think metahuman, and that they could fit with the actual character.  So guess i'll start.

    1. Master swordsmen/archer- Yes he is good with these two things, but he isn't a master which in all rights he should be.  (Unless he actually is and I haven't seen a source for it heh.)

    2. Super agility- He dodges all sorts of crazy magic and attacks, makes sense that at a point he could gain super agility.

    3. Super hearing- Link has long pointy elf ears, I mean he should be able to hear a good number of things far off(not to the level of superman mind you, but above normal hearing.)

    4. Enhanced Reflexes- Now not saying he would be able to dodge bullets or anything, but to the level Link would actually be able to see more things being thrown at him and be able to react in time.

Link's piece of the Triforce makes him a master of all weapons. There's a reason why he knows how to use every weapon he gets right off the bat. Links a swordsman. Giving him super agility would really take away from his character. He's cool because he's such a skilled swordsman. Making his super-quick would just be a cheap trick that involves no skill of any sort. Link seems a bit childish. I imagine he wouldn't use his super hearing, he just likes busting into rooms and fighting everyone there with no plan or preparation. I think Link should just be given the ability to cast spells. It's kind of a waste of his Triforce when he hardly knows any magic.

Now now, I did say that  the super qualities wouldn't be near the level of Supes or any like him. He would be more akin down further, he wouldn't be able to dodge everything or nothing like that. His agility and reflexes, would merely just be a tad higher then they are before nothing great or spectacular. Just enough to have him survive moreso. Him doing more magic would be neat, though he seems more of a close combat swordsmen then a wizard.

I say he's best the way he is. More dependent on his skills than physical abilities.

I do too, but this is just a fun what if thread and see what kinda combinations could be made to have Link become a super elf. But his skills could also include his physical abilities, it takes skill to dodge balls of energy, swords and what not.

True but lol, not really talking about it from a game point of view.
