Created specifically for the Future Quest mini-series, Linda Kim Conroy is the mother of Buzz Conroy and wife of the late Professor Ted Conroy. She is a robotics scientist and artificial intelligence expert teaching at the Carnegie Mellon University; the Future Quest mini-series declares that she created the famous spider-bot and that Dr. Zin had only stolen her design. She does not exist in any other continuity.
