    Lilandra's proximity to the Imperial Guard and Professor Xavier makes her an important character in storyboards that can be connected to Phoenix (Jean Grey) storyboards.

    Lilandra and Jean/Phoenix, as we know, share a deep mental/psychic connection with the gifted Professor X.

    This is why X-fans are interested in connective stories that unify the power-emergence themes surrounding Lilandra-Xavier and Phoenix-Xavier missions.

    The real question is, how does this Lilandra/Phoenix parallax inform our understanding of the overall X-Men universe leadership hierarchy?
